Apples (I recommend going for organic) also contain a wide variety of phytochemicals which are all powerful antioxidants. I'm going to take 2-3 teaspoons a day, either with some yogurt or off the spoon! This recipe is ideal for someone who has just finished up a course of antibiotics!

•3-4 organic apples
•2 tbsp of cinnamon
•2 chopped dates
•1/2 cup of water
Method: add all the ingredients to a medium sized pot. Allows to simmer for 15-20 minutes on a low heat. Once the skin starts to separate from the apples, take it off the heat and store in the fridge for upto 5 days.
